Our history
1998
At that time Mirco Roncolato was already the owner of R.B. AUTOMAZIONI SRL and with Luca Fracasso, still an employee, he shared the idea already discussed with Rino Mastrotto to open a new company.
From there, an empty warehouse, the first indispensable equipment, three cars, few employees and many ideas, over time became projects and later still products to be presented to customers and trade fairs in the sector.
At that time, today’s technology was unthinkable, but Nexus, year after year, acquired skills and launched its “first” important projects.

2002
Nexus creates the first automatic systems for tanneries and specifically offers high-level automation for barrel departments. It is on a par with the TOP BRANDS already known in the market.
The company then takes care of the ACQUATEC system (water dosing), PROTEC (chemical product dosing), DRUMTEC (drum management), PESOTEC (bulk weighing management) and TANTEC (supervisor) in every part.
In addition, it positions plants in the most important production facilities in the Arzignano tanning district.

2004
Nexus decides to expand the market nationally by starting to position plants in Tuscany and southern Italy, always in well-known and consolidated companies.
It becomes a partner of a well-known Venetian company for the construction of wind generators by offering a cutting-edge system both from a functional and remote control point of view.
It begins to implement anthropomorphic, scara and pick and place ROBOTS in automations to meet the most varied customer needs.

2008
With an important Venetian company, Nexus, he began the production of automatic ski preparation machines for both international teams and rental and sales shops.
He then developed a sophisticated software designed to put the sky man in a position to carry out particular processes on the “sole” of the ski in order to put national champions in a position to win races of world importance.
In collaboration with a company in Milan, the first precision dosing systems for pigments used in leather spraying lines began to be built.
The software created, in addition to guaranteeing the functions that competitors of the same system provide, gives operators the opportunity to have a clearer and easier management of processing recipes.

2011
2011 was a year of transition… the Nexus has changed LOCATION!
The new Nexus house located in Montorso Vicentino, on the outskirts of Arzignano, becomes more spacious and modern and equipped with a self-built home automation system for the remote control of air conditioners, automatic windows, lights and alarm system.
In addition, thanks to its modern design, it communicates a future-oriented corporate image to customers.
Large warehouse, comfortable and bright offices, car parking, advanced video surveillance system, overhead crane, more equipped workshop, and much more… all to offer a healthy and comfortable working environment.

2012
From 2012 to 2016 there were years of great work for the Nexus:
In 2012, in fact, the first EASY TEST was invented and built: an automatic robotic machine for testing every single safety valve mounted on the petrol tanks of cars. (To date, the Easy Test series amounts to 6 units).
Another important collaboration with a company in Montebello gives way to the creation of the first AUTOMATIC UNWINDING AND WINDING LINES of paper and fabrics at high speeds and with automatic “on the fly” change of the reel.
Nexus, then, ventures into the food world by creating, in collaboration with a company in Altavilla, a fully automatic line for the creation and packaging of potato gnocchi.
It enters the FOUNDRY market and realizes important applications for the management of fully automatic machines and equipment.
Increasingly well-known, Nexus was awarded the contract for the creation of the software for the PUMPING STATION OF THE VICENZA AQUEDUCT.
It also enters the world of HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS by providing software that automatically manages unmanned power plants.
2016
In recent years, NEXUS has structured itself to provide a 360° service related to INDUSTRY 4.0, or rather, digital connectivity between machines and systems.
Having activated a mechanical design office with the purchase of cutting-edge programs, such as CAD and SOLID WORKS, we began to create lines with turnkey robotic systems, such as ASSEMBLER 1.0, EASY TEST 4, 5 and 6, machines for the paper converting world and other equipment requested by customers.
2018
The NEXUS HEADQUARTERS doubles with the addition of new offices used for design (Electrical and Mechanical CAD), 500 square meters of operational headquarters used for the construction and testing of electrical panels, assembly and testing of robotic machines. The new part has been equipped with a 6.3 ton overhead crane.
2023
A year of important organizational changes given the 25 YEARS OF ACTIVITY. This is also the number of internal employees accompanied by a dozen external professionals including some consultants.
Today the operational organization is divided into 5 areas that work both on the plants and in remote assistance:

– MECHANICAL DESIGN area
– WIRING area
– AFTER-SALES SERVICE area
Nexus has also opened up the FOREIGN MARKET, even overseas, thanks to trade fairs, but, above all, word of mouth.
With the constant commitment of the staff and with the continuous search for new and innovative technologies, we have achieved great satisfaction.
