Automated valve marking is now possible with customized automation systems that allow valves to be marked with alphanumeric codes, barcodes, QR codes, or other types of markers. This process can take place in line with production or at a later date, in order to record the characteristics of production in the management system. The type of marker used is selected based on the material, process time, and quality of the marking.
Laser, dot peen, and inkjet technologies are some of the commonly used methods for marking, in addition to printing on adhesive labels. The goal is always to provide production traceability in the desired level of detail.
