This is an example of how gas safety valves can be controlled via stations. Initially, the automation was used as a manual station to check the safety valves for LP gas. According to the customer’s requirements, the number of stations has increased and the process is now fully automated.
The valves are loaded onto a vice and subjected to pressure and flow tests. Based on the test results, the valve is ordered accordingly. Since the customer operates in the automotive sector, some valves are selected for manual verification to ensure the correct operation of the machine as well as internal diagnostics.
All production data is saved in a report, which the management system can access for complete traceability
